About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our growing team in Provo, Utah. This is a hybrid role offering a balance of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility. The ideal candidate is a proactive tax professional who enjoys both technical work and client interaction, and who is ready to take ownership of engagements while mentoring junior team members.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and C corporations
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing high-quality tax planning and advisory services
• Research complex tax issues and communicate recommendations clearly to clients and internal stakeholders
• Lead tax engagements from planning through completion, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Supervise, mentor, and review work of senior and staff accountants
• Stay current on tax law changes and proactively identify opportunities for clients
• Collaborate with leadership on workflow, process improvement, and client strategy

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience
• CPA license strongly preferred (or actively working toward licensure)
• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. federal and state taxation
• Experience managing multiple engagements and deadlines
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop team members
• Experience with common tax software and accounting tools
