Atlanta, GA needs you! We are currently seeking a passionate and visionary Urban Church Planter to serve in the Atlanta area. As an Urban Church Planter, you will play a vital role in creating and nurturing vibrant faith communities in urban areas.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on individuals and families, providing them with spiritual guidance and an inclusive community. As an Urban Church Planter, you will be responsible for leading the strategic planning, organizing, and executing of diverse church planting initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for church planting initiatives in urban areas
• Identify and assess potential locations and communities for church plants
• Establish and cultivate relationships with community leaders, organizations, and residents
• Recruit, equip, and train a team of volunteers for church planting efforts
• Oversee the development of discipleship programs and ministries to meet the unique needs of the community
• Lead and facilitate worship services, preaching and teaching the Word of God
• Create and implement effective outreach strategies and programs to engage the local community
• Provide pastoral care and support to church members, offering spiritual guidance and counseling services as needed

Requirements

• 5 years of organizational and/or ministry leadership experience preferred
• Deep understanding and appreciation for urban culture and the challenges faced by urban communities
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to mobilize and inspire others
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse individuals and communities
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and navigate complex situations
