UX/UI Designer Job Description As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you will serve as the functional lead in the MedTech space, overseeing the UX and UI design of new digital products, including education and product labeling. You will lead cross-functional project teams, transforming unmet user needs into design solutions. Responsibilities + Lead the creation of low-fidelity wireframes, information architectures, workflow diagrams, and interactive prototypes. + Define a UI Design System and Style Guide for software implementation. + Visually communicate clinical data in digital applications through storytelling. + Design product labeling to enhance user experience, education, and risk reduction. + Develop user experience designs for instructions for use (IFUs), quick reference guides (QRGs), on-device labeling, and interactive user guides. + Foster a culture of critical review and design critique to create intuitive and effective user experiences. + Assist with clinical site visits, user research, concept feedback sessions, and usability testing to integrate user feedback. + Collaborate with design researchers, industrial designers, human factors engineers, software engineers, and others to develop intuitive product solutions. Essential Skills + Proficiency in design tools like Figma and Adobe Illustrator. + B.S. and 3+ years of professional experience or M.S. and 1+ years of professional experience. + Degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or Industrial Design. + Ability to present design solutions to clients with clear design intent. + Strong planning skills to meet tight deadlines and project timelines. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in designing for the medical industry to improve patient outcomes. + Interest in mentoring junior designers and sharing UX/UI design expertise. + Ability to adapt collaboration and communication styles to different personalities. + Interest in gaining awareness of business development and the proposal process. + Advocate within the UX/UI design community to establish leadership. Work Environment The position is based in a beautiful office facility in Providence, offering an engaging work environment within a growing company. You will have the opportunity to work across multi-discipline product lifecycles. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Providence, RI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $93000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
