Job Posting: Valuation Actuary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Valuation Actuary to lead our Valuation team. The ideal candidate will be an FSA (Fellow of the Society of Actuaries) with extensive experience in both STAT (Statutory) and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) reporting. This individual will play a key role in explaining results, improving processes, and developing the talent within the team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Valuation team, reporting directly to the department head.
• Take ownership of the valuation process for both STAT and GAAP reporting.
• Provide clear and insightful explanations of results to key stakeholders.
• Focus on enhancing and streamlining valuation processes for improved efficiency and accuracy.
• Mentor and develop the team

Qualifications:

• FSA (Fellow of the Society of Actuaries) designation.
• Proven experience in STAT and GAAP reporting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex actuarial concepts to non-actuarial stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to improve processes and develop team members.
