Job Description

We are in immediate need of experienced welders.

 

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, qualifications and/or experience:

• 2 years’ trade experience in related role.
• Have knowledge or exposure to industrial equipment: lathe, milling machine, etc.
• Problem solving skills, analytical and resourceful.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work without supervision.
• Versatile, self-motivated and team oriented.
• Ability to follow precise instructions and directions.
• Understanding of production requirements.
• Commitment to safety within the workplace.

The primary objectives of this position would include:

• Performing welding duties.
• Provide recommendations for problem solutions.
• Undertaking replacement of parts.
• Carry out yard duties when required – this could be anything from sweeping to organizing stock materials.

Our hours of operation are Monday- Friday 7:30-4:30. Staying late to complete a job can be anticipated. Punctuality is important to us, so we expect everyone to be on time every day. 

We are a manual machine/ metal fabrication shop. Our capabilities include but are not limited to changing a bearing, building a custom attachment for industrial vehicles, repairing agricultural pumps, to the fabrication and installation of stairways and handrails.
