Job Title: Bookkeeper
Time Commitment: Part-time, 15-20 hours per week
Pay: $20.00/hour
Worksite: Remote
Job Overview
The bookkeeper records daily transactions, manages accounts payable and receivable, reconciles bank accounts, and generates financial reports to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. Key skills include bookkeeping software proficiency (like Quickbooks, Excel, Shopify, A2X), strong attention to detail, data entry abilities, and excellent organizational skills. The role is crucial for tracking a business's financial health and supporting management decision-making.
Duties And Responsibilities
Managing multiple state taxes
Inventory management- Amazon, in store, in transit, and warehouse
Accounts payable to multiple companies
Management of multiple bank accounts and credit cards
Reconcile and management of all accounts and inventory
Costs of goods sold (accounting for margins and net)
Payroll
Financial reporting (monthly)
Requirements
Qualifications:
Prior accounting and bookkeeping experience
Ability to manage multiple accounts, systems, and departments
AR adjusting journal entries (accounting for margins and net)
Software proficiency (like Quickbooks, Excel, Shopify, A2X)
