Advanced Systems Design is seeking a JOB TITLE for our client located in Tallahassee, FL .
This position is onsite in Tallahassee, FL, and requires in-person availability starting day 1.
Job Overview:
The Department is in need of staff augmentation services, that specialize in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in support of the Division’s testing activities related to Florida PALM. This RFQ is for the acquisition of one (1) Business Process Consultant – Advanced (Job #7620)
Responsibilities :
1. Prepare UAT testing scripts
- Coordinate with business stakeholders to establish readiness for testing and timing for their business and enterprise systems business process validations.
Inventory of Test Scripts must include:
- Test scenarios to support each test case,
- Test case for Division operational activities with each step of the activity documented,
- Test case for each BPM, and
- Priority assigned for each script. Deadline for preparing UAT testing scripts: September 30, 2025.
2. Coordinate Division Florida PALM Testing activities and execute the approved A&A
- Execute the approved A&A Florida PALM Testing Plan in collaboration with the Quality Assurance Manager. Results of UAT testing must include:
- The number of test scripts executed,
- The number of defects reported,
- Record test failures and successes daily to Quality Assurance Manager.
- The Business Process Consultant will facilitate meetings, foster teamwork, and identify agency-specific training as requested.
- The Business Process Consultant will track and monitor UAT progress, address, mitigate, and escalate UAT risks and issues, and perform other tasks as assigned.
- Identification of who participated in testing,
- Identification of issues/problems affecting the ability to complete testing, and
- Identification of testing progress against the test schedule.
- Deadline for finalized recorded test results to the division: Within fifteen (15) Business Days of the conclusion of testing.
3. Provide overall testing support
- Work with the Quality Assurance Manager to provide at least weekly written updates to Division Contract Manager and/or Division leadership.
- Facilitate meetings with Division personnel, promoting teamwork, and providing UAT focused training and knowledge transfer as requested.
- Track, mitigate, and escalate risks and issues.
- Use and share lessons learned and best practices associated with experience with ERP management and business process transformation that may promote efficiency and help to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Test Execution Support is not to exceed 40 hours per week, unless prior approval is provided by the Department in writing. Testing Execution Support includes:
- Weekly written summary of testing related activities performed,
- Participation in testing meetings,
- Review of project documents, tracking/mitigating testing related risk and issues, and
- Communication of testing results, impacts, system changes and knowledge transfer of ERP processing to Division personnel.
- Deadline for the first weekly written summary of testing related activities performed: Close of business (COB) each Thursday
Required Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7 years of IT experience.
- 4 years of experience in process engineering.
- 2 years of experience in project management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with State government
- Experience working with functional owners of a business process/system
- Experience working with PeopleSoft
- Experience working with functional owner of a business process/system to communicate and clarify customer requirements, processes and understanding of technical concepts
- Knowledge of business processes related to accounting, payroll, or financial management
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform tasks on site at DFS locations
- Certified PMP
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or other related fields or relevant experience is required.
