The Inn and Spa at Cedar Falls restaurant, Kindred Spirits, is looking for the right person to be a Host/Hostess-Server. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and outgoing personality. This person needs to have a flexible schedule with open availability and able to work breakfast and lunch shift, and dinner. They must be detail oriented and follow our guidelines for quality assurance. This individual must be able to take guest complaints and to help guests with any issues they might have. This person will be responsible for greeting guests with a smile as they enter the restaurant, confirming guest reservations in the system, seating them at their assigned table and making sure the servers know their tables have arrived. They will also clean and sanitize menu books as well as help bus tables, do dishes, and run food if needed. This person will also be asked to wait tables and to bartend if necessary (we will train the right person for this). You will be working along with staff to ensure quality service to all customers.
