Job Description The Lab Technician I handles samples, performs analyses and reports accurate and timely data according to Laboratory Operating Procedures and test methodologies. JOB FUNCTIONS + Homogenizes samples following standard protocols. + Assists with cleaning laboratory carts, glassware, racks. + Maintains cleanliness of laboratory work surfaces. + Maintains records of all quality activities as required in Operating Procedures and Test Methods. + Performs applicable testing with proper proficiency training with Supervision. + Maintains and verifies equipment Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry or Chemistry preferred. Essential Skills + Proficiency in lab testing and analysis techniques. + Experience with quality control processes. + Ability to perform Excel data entry. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harrisburg, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
