Music School: A Dawn Of Music Studios

Experience preferred. 15 to 35 hours per week @ $25 - $32 +/hr. (depending on experience, level of training, and travel)

A Dawn Of Music Studios has been in business for 30 yrs and is a member of the BBB. We invite only the best-qualified subcontractor musicians and teachers in San Diego to teach music to learners of all ages and levels. Our goal is to teach a balance of skill and performance, as specified by the learner's individual goals. We are located in San Diego, Bay Park. Check us out online for more details.

Details:
Trained Music Educator for private lessons
Teaching and Office hours required
Able to teach lessons at all levels and ages to individuals and/or groups
Able to arrive at the location 10-15 minutes before scheduled lessons
Currently taking private lessons preferred

Qualifications:
Music Degree, or at least 2+ years of private music lessons taken;
Teaching, performance, theory experience;
Music performance competence;
Knowledge of your instrument;
Commitment to and understanding of the teaching and learning process;
Musical and teaching ability;
Patience, perseverance, and excellent communication skills - much of your time will be spent with a range of students all at different musical levels as well as with their parents;
High standards of professionalism and professional ethics;
Excellent self-management and organizational skills;
Resourcefulness and the ability to make things happen and determine your own direction;
Willingness to try new directions and be flexible;
Readiness to do routine jobs as well as exciting ones.
