Job Description

A retired couple based in New York City is seeking a discreet, mature, and highly organized Personal Assistant to support day-to-day operations in their Upper East Side brownstone. The wife, a native Mandarin speaker, requires support navigating the city and managing various aspects of the household. This role is hybrid, with a mix of in-home and remote responsibilities. The ideal candidate is fluent in Mandarin and English, proactive, detail-oriented, and has experience working in high-end private homes. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary support for Mrs., assisting with daily errands, appointments, and navigating NYC
• Translate and interpret between Mandarin and English when needed
• Oversee ongoing renovation project: liaise with contractors, track progress, report updates
• Book and manage domestic and international travel arrangements
• Manage household calendar and schedules
• Set up and manage household utilities, accounts, and bill payments
• Oversee household staff, vendors, and property maintenance
• Assist with any additional personal or administrative tasks as required

Requirements:

• Fluent in Mandarin and English
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar Personal Assistant role
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Experience overseeing renovation projects is a major plus
• Excellent references

Schedule: Full-time

Salary: $84,000 - $96,000 per year
