They supply major automotive companies which leads to high demand and constant production.  Our client is in need of a Safety Coordinator to join their team.

As Safety Coordinator you will be responsible for:
Focusing on and ensuring plant chemical, electrical, and mechanical safety
Lock out/Tag out
Completing environmental and safety audits
Completing accident investigations
Ensuring equipment safety (cranes, robotics, forklift/powered industrial truck)
Meeting OSHA guidelines
Training employees
Other duties as assigned

To be considered for the Safety Coordinator position you must have:
A degree in Safety or Environmental Engineering or similar is preferred or equivalent work experience
Experience with lock out/tag out and forklifts are required
Experience with safety audits
Excellent communication skills
Experience with safety
MS Office proficiency
