Experienced Video Editor for Digital Product Videos

CONTRACT ROLE, SEEKING FREELANCERS

Compensation: $12,000

Role Overview: We're seeking a skilled Video Editor to produce a series of digital product videos for a client’s cloud-based platform. This gig focuses on motion graphics, UI/UX animations, and screen recordings, and select stock footage —there will be no need for original live-action filming. We need a creative editor who can craft compelling product videos that effectively demonstrate the platform’s functionality, user experience, and key selling points . Worku, a small remote team, is seeking a highly collaborative and proactive leader to seamlessly coordinate with our internal team while effectively engaging and communicating with the client and their stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Create compelling screen-based product videos using UI/UX walkthroughs, animations, and motion design
Edit and enhance screen recordings, stock footage, overlays, and transitions to ensure smooth visual storytelling
Incorporate motion graphics, text animations, and subtle effects to highlight key features and user benefits
Effectively communicate with stakeholders , presenting concepts and strategic insights during the pre-production phase. Collaborate on creative briefs, storyboards, and scripts to ensure alignment and approval.

What We’re Looking For:

A skilled video editor with a strong portfolio and/or reel showcasing your work
Expertise in motion design, UI animation, and screen-based editing
Strong skills in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar motion graphics software
Experience creating tutorials, explainer videos, or SaaS product walkthroughs is a huge plus
Ability to translate product features into clear, engaging visual content
Someone who thrives in a team environment , contributes creative ideas, and takes ownership of delivering high-quality, engaging videos.
